  An excellent historical reference for both the Casper and Johan Peter Glattfelder families. It was written by Dr. Charles H.   A history and genealogy of the Hoffman, Rhyne, Costner, Rudisill, Best, Hovis, Hoyle, Wills, Shetley, Jenkins, Withers, Cansler, Clemmer, and Lineberger families.  One glaring error is that it shows that Jacob Rhyne was married to an Elizabeth Wills when in fact he was married to Lisabeth Glattfelder, daughter of Johan Peter Glattfelder.  Otherwise a very good book.  Contains many many descendants of Jacob Rhyne and Lisabeth Glattfelder.  Hardbound, 585 pages including index.  It can be purchased from the Gaston County Historical Museum in Dallas, North Carolina.
