The book traces the family of Johann Georg Pfaffenberger from a village in Germany to their arrival in Philadelphia in 1733 through the French and Indian War, the Revolution and down to the Civil War at the battle of Antietam in Maryland, fought on Poffenberger farms. All the various spellings of Pfaffenberger in this country can be traced to this couple.

- SHULTZ- Yet to be published by Diane Humphries
I will be publishing a book on the Shultz family in June. It
includes some Van Cleave, Van Meter, Rhoads, and Talley branches,
as well as Du Bois. The main point of origin for the families
was Somerset County, Pennsylvania. The books will be $30 each,
and will include one link that I have managed to trace back to
Adam and Eve, through Charlemagne.
